Caring for a 3D-printed keychain
Keep it out of strong heat, such as a car parked in the sun, and clean it with a dry or damp cloth. PLA, the usual printing plastic, softens well below the temperature of boiling water.
Heat
Most 3D-printed keychains are printed in PLA, a plastic that starts to soften at around 55–60 °C. A car parked in the Malaysian sun can get hotter than that inside, so don't leave a keychain on the dashboard.
Cleaning
Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid alcohol and solvents, which can dull the surface.
Small parts
Some designs have small separate pieces, like the plug tops on the extension plug keychain. Keep them away from small children.
